In-Home Care Services for Veterans

Silver Angels In-Home Care Services help Veterans stay in their home and receive the care and support they need to be as independent as possible.  Our caregivers are trained to provide you or your loved one with services such as:

  • Personal Care (assistance with Activities of Daily Living such as grooming, dressing, bathing, oral care, etc.)
  • Homemaker Services such as Light Housekeeping
  • Meal Preparation
  • Medication Reminders
  • Respite Care – TN Locations Only (temporary or long-term relief for family members or caregivers who provide care to a Veteran.)
  • And More!

All Tennessee locations and our Bowling Green, KY location are VA Approved Community Care Providers. All Silver Angels of Tennessee, LLC locations are certified Veteran Ready Employers

We partner with the Department of Veterans Affairs to provide our Veterans with compassionate, in-home care allowing them to stay in the comfort of their own homes.

Veterans may be eligible for VA Benefits to help cover the cost of in-home care services.  The VA’s home care programs are designed for those who meet specific financial and physical criteria. The VA’s Home & Community Based Care Program helps disabled or chronically ill Veterans remain at home with the assistance of approved agencies like Silver Angels.  We work closely with the VA in all the counties we serve across; we are a proud provider with the Veterans Affairs Community Care Network (VACCN).

To receive In-Home Care Services covered by the VA’s Home & Community Based Care Program you must have a VA doctor.

  • If you do not have a VA doctor, fill out the 10-10EZ form (click here for the form). and take it, with your DD214, to your local VA office. If you already have a VA doctor, great, you’re one step closer.
  • Make an appointment with your VA doctor.
  • While there, request that your VA doctor refer you to the Home & Community Based Care Program.
  • Wait for the VA office to call you with your approval. While you wait, reach out to us and let us know you have started this process.
  • When you receive approval, request your local Silver Angels office as your care provider (see our Locations here).
